COVID-19 UPDATE
In light of the current situation and following Government guidance, our meetings at Cliffs are cancelled until further notice…. however… we will not be beaten! Our monthly meetings are now online and although the programme may be subject to change, we can still guarantee the same amount of laughs, friendship and support waiting for you! Guests are still welcome to join us (free during this period) just Contact Us in advance for the Zoom Meeting ID.
2020 Membership
We are currently welcoming new members and visitors. We meet the second Thursday of every month at 7.30pm in Cliffs on Northdown Road (map below). Membership for 2020 is £43 which gives you:
- access to 12 monthly meetings;
- access to sub-groups including Theatre Goers and the Mermaid Makers;
- exclusive opportunities to attend events, trips and get involved with national campaigns;
- chances to get involved with other local organisations such as POW! and Margate Pride;
- access to the National Federation of WIs education programme at Denman College;
- access to the members only website, My WI;
- 12 monthly magazines; plus
- endless opportunities to learn, laugh and be part of something amazing.

Visit Us
You can also visit us up to three times to see if our institute is for you. There’s no need to book, just come along and pay your entry fee upon arrival (cash only please).
Your first visit is £1, second £2 and your third visit to us is £3. After this we hope you’ll become a full Margate WI member!
Venue Access
Our monthly meetings are held upstairs in Cliffs. Unfortunately there is no lift available so please bear this in mind when thinking of visiting us.
