Theatre Goers
We have teamed up with The Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury to offer discounted theatre tickets to selected shows when we book as a group. Friends and family are welcome as part of your booking. Previously we have seen incredible performances in Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake and Romeo & Juliet plus the hilarious Christmas panto, Mother Goose!

Mermaid Makers
The Mermaid Makers is a chance for our members to come together to get creative, make and more often than not, learn something new.
Currently, we are taking part in cookery classes at Broadstairs College. Each course is three weeks long and so far we have covered: Introduction to Cookery, Mediterranean Cooking, Canapés, Chocolate Skills, Breadmaking and Desserts.
Plans are in the making to host regular making meet-ups at Little Swift on Marine Drive so watch this space.
Green-fingered Gals
Whether you’re a novice or an expert, this group is for all our members who want to share their love of plants and gardening. Activities include plant and seed swaps, garden visits, sharing top tips and we will be starting a very exciting collaboration with a local brewery to grow our own hops very soon! More details to be announced.
Cheers to the Beers
Come and explore the inns of Thanet in our Cheers to the Beers group! Every other month, we try out a new drinking establishment and taste test what they have to offer. Don’t worry if you aren’t a beer drinker, we visit gin palaces, vineyards and cocktail bars too. We’ll drink to that!

Margate WI Mermaids
Brave the North Sea with our mermaids! They meet daily for a morning swim at Walpole Bay Tidal Pool… whatever the weather, and whatever the temperature! Brrr…
